Leonard was maried to Barbara for over 50 years. They both came from Hulme and met at Granellis Snack Bar. After they were married they moves to Langley, Middleton. Barbara still lives in Middleton. They had 6 children (in order of age} Yvonne, Stephen,Barbara,Geoffrey,Anthony and Dean.Leonard worked as a scaffolder until he had to retire on illhealth.Retiring gave him time to do what he loved, a bit of gardening and driving. He loved nothing more than jumping in the car with Barbara to visit family and friends or drive off to wherever the mood took him even if it was all the way to Bolton market for a bit of fish. Leonard passed away suddenly his death a great shock to everyone .
